How long does it take to create an engagement ring?
How do I find the right engagement ring size?
Finding your partner’s correct ring size is often easier than you think. If you’re planning a surprise proposal we have a few ways you can go about it. Our most popular option is for when your partner takes off one of her rings (any ring) simply put it on a ruler, take a photo and send it to us with the information of what finger it goes on and we can work off that.
We custom made every engagement ring here in our Brisbane studio, 90% of the time we get the size right, the other 10% of the time it’s slightly big or small and we are able to resize after the proposal on site so it’s really not an issue or complication.

Are engagement rings only for women?
No not necessarily. Traditionally women wore engagement rings, but many couples that we see choose rings for their partners as well. It’s becoming more and more popular. We have crafted diamond set bands for men, minimalist platinum rings, and bespoke designs that reflect each individual’s style.
A popular style for men is a signet ring with a diamond in the middle. An engagement ring is personal and reflective of the wearer’s style, there is no right and wrong.
Which diamond shapes are the most popular for engagement rings?
The round brilliant shape remains our most requested. Its symmetry and brilliance will never go out of style.
Oval diamonds and elongated diamond shapes are becoming very popular and definitely competing with the popularity of round diamonds. Oval, Cushion, Radiant and pear shaped diamonds are definitely trending.
Does an engagement ring have to be diamond?
No, although traditionally we have seen diamonds be the centre of engagement rings.
We are designing more and more engagement rings with other gemstones as the hero stone and diamonds to accent either side.
Stones like a variety of Sapphires and gemstones that are sentimental to our clients.
